My ridiculously generous husband of 8 years has been wanting to upgrade my ring, but I wasn't sure (I'm very attached to the original 1.5 oval he gave me). He presented me with this one, asking me to just "give it a try". Okay, I tried, and I decided I LOVE it!!! I wasn't with him when he bought it, but he said it's slightly over 3 carat center with each side stone being just under one carat. It is beautiful. I did insist on keeping my original eternity band with it, I'm definitely not going to be changing that. I can always wear my old ring if I'm feeling nostalgic, right?

A ring that I had dreamed of!

This ring was my upgrade engagement ring. I originally got my future husbands great-grandmothers wedding ring set(posted this ring a few weeks ago). I loved it but I always dreamed for more sparkle :) So I picked out this 18ct diamond ring from the Tacori Contemporary Crescent Silhouette Collection. The center stone is a 1.31 Original Radiant Cut Square diamond. It has a G.I.A diamond report. The criss-cross band is filled with round channel-set diamonds, accented with round pave-set diamonds. ...Center Stone: 1.31ct Original Radiant Cut D VS1; Tacori setting:3/8ct G VS.... I uploaded a picture from Tacori to show the band with better detail....So the last picture isn't my ring;) The picture of the band is also from Tacori. I don't have it yet but it is on order. The band and ring fit together.

My ring is a Tacori platinum ring. The band twists down the side and has diamonds in a micropave setting. The center diamond is 2.1 carats, square radiant cut. I love it! And he picked it out all on his own!

Here is my new engagement ring! It is an original radiant cut with a simple tapered custom platinum band.

We came across a gorgeous Radiant center stone - 1.33-ct/E/SI1.  Its a G-H VS channel set on the side. How pretty!
