You two can discuss some affordable options to getting a diamond, and the surprise will be how creative you are with the proposal. Well, actually, I don't know what your financial standing is (maybe you shouldn't be getting married if you can't afford a ring), but I guess if you two are two young love birds with not a lot of money, AND SHE KNOWS that youre buying a CZ then its OK. Its more of an issue of her not knowing that would make it kind of a bad move. But if you two are just so in love that you have to get married ASAP, and she doesn't care if you tattoo a ring on her finger - then go for it man! But if not, then don't. Does that make sense?

Why dont you look up synthetic diamonds...those are real diamonds that cost less because they're grown in science labs. I read articles about them on ringenvy
I do not think so. I am looking at rings to get an idea of what I want and they are all CZ. I don't feel that a ring is needed at all much less a diamond if you cannot afford it or simply think it is unnecessary. While my significant other is having more trouble changing his mind, I would be just as happy with a CZ.
