Is it okay not to reveal what the Engagment Ring Cost. Is the Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal Document enough information, or does the bride deserve to know how much was actually paid for the Diamond?
I think the man should try to keep it as a secret, and his loving fiancee should, out of love or respect, give up trying to find out. Liz is right, it shouldn't be discussed. But I also believe the ring value counts. Alot! Not because of the value itself, but the value of the ring and the social status of the guy, can determine the amount of interest he's put into it, and into the relationship. Everybody judges, we all know that. It's a shame, but it's true.

Personally, I wouldn't want to know how much was spent on my ring from my fiance. It's something that doesn't matter? You don't want to put a price tag on the symbol of love. When it comes down to it whether it was $100 or $100,000,000 if you have someone who you truly love and truly love's you, no price can be put on what that ring means.
