Uh, do you think that all the celebrities that have huge honking engagement rings are virgins? (See: Pamela Anderson for reference). What about people that remarry and get new engagement rings? An engagement ring is a symbol of your commitment to each other, not of her "purity".

Also, if you are considering marrying this person and spending the rest of your life together but are on the fence about it due to if she is a virgin or not...Well, there are a lot of guys out there that won't care if she is a virgin and will love her the way she is no matter what, and will buy her an engagement ring too! ;)

...Hmmphft, there would be a LOT of people without engagement rings in this world if this were true....! lol.

 Yeah, seriously, where did they get that silly idea.  They obviously haven't been wooed enough by any women, cuz from what Ive heard, when a man loves a woman, he puts a ring on her finger...haven't you heard that Beyonce song (hehe)
