Can you imagine an engagement ring costing somewhere in the neighborhood of five hundred thousand dollars? I guess when you are a young professional athlete, you don’t really have to put a price tag on a very stunning bauble for the engagement ring finger. Spending 500 grand for an engagement ring like the one Tony Parker presented to his bride to be, TV star Eva Longoria, certainly proves price is no object when it comes down to material representation of your devotion and seriousness in getting engaged.
This beautiful engagement ring boasts an Emerald Cut Diamond and is accentuated by nearly two hundred and fifty more diamonds. The ring weighs in at a whopping 5 carats of glimmering exquisiteness. Emerald Cut means it is rectangular in shape and flat on top with broad, flat cuts, almost like steps, around the sides of the gem. The ring is in a Tiffany setting and was designed by Jean Dousett. One hundred plus hours were put into creating this design. The ring has a secret inscription etched into it and has yet to be revealed publicly. If you were tuned into the VH1 cable channel recently, you would have had a chance to take a peek at the stunning bauble that was given to Eva Longoria, a not so desperate housewife.
For those eager to get their hands on a creation from Jean Dousett, the wait will not be long. Jean has worked in Diamond Shops for many years and has decided to create his own line. Even though Jean has worked in the shadows, and sometimes privately for a select few celebrities, he is spreading his wings and offering his talent on a more personalized level. His plans are to divide his work between the West Coast of USA and Paris
