Ring Description

The center stone is 4.05 carats but the total carat weight for my ring is 5.03 carats. The center stone is paved and so is the shoulders of the ring and the gallery also. This is my orignal engagement ring.My fiance bought me another ring. He knows that I love Art Deco inspired jewelry and the carat weight itself was down-graded to 3.50 carats (which is still alot) but fits my job as a Anesthesia Nurse. It's an emerald cut center stone pave set with diamonds and sapphires with diamonds baggettes flanking each side if the center stone. I got really lucky with this guy!!! :)

The proposal

The proposal is very special and private tme but I have a funny story about the weekend after the proposal.My bff and I were meeting up with some old friends and others that really weren't our friends (jealousy) and she told me wear my ring. I asked her why and she said, "You'll see" so I got it cleaned and wore to our little luncheon. Well I got there a little late because of traffic and sat down next to my bff and we all ordered our food.All of a sudden my friend said,"Don't you have some news you want to share with everybody?" and I said,"Ummm... I got engaged last weekend!" At this time our salads and soups were being brought out to the table and my friend grabbed my hand and said "Stick these carats in your soup!!" LOL It was totally ghetto to say, but hilarious at the same time. If some of those ladies didn't like us before they certainly didn't like us now. LOL I told my fiance what had happened and he couldn't stop laughing...my bff is so silly!!
