A ring that I had dreamed of!

The proposal

My fiance and I decided to walk our dog around the "Quad" here at the University of Alabama where I am a student. We have a football game tomorrow and so I wanted to see what all the tailgaters were doing on the Quad. We decided to talk towards the President's Mansion of our University. I should have known something was up because we never go toward our President's Mansion because it is back off the road and kind of private since it is the home of Dr. Witt and his wife. We walked up the long drive to the President's Mansion and the entire time, my fiance is asking if it is okay if we are up there. I'm reassuring him that it is fine and that I don't think they will care. I feel like we are on an adventure to see how close we can get to it without getting in trouble. We get up there to the house and I decide to take a picture of it since I had never been this close before. As soon as I get done taking the picture, I turn around to find my fiance down on one knee asking me to marry him. It was so sweet and so perfect.
