The proposal

After a long day away from home, I walked into the apartment building to find flower petals and lit candles leading to our doorway. I opened the door to find Dave dressed up in a button up and nice black pants, and our dog, Todd, in a hot dog outfit (which I couldn’t stop giggling at). There were rose petals and red candles scattered across all of the floors, counter tops and tables. He led me into the living room, where I was told I had to go on a scavenger hunt. There were six new gifts in the room that I had to find. The gifts were: a snuggie, a piece of chocolate, two bottles of champagne, a love sign, a blanket, and a stuffed animal. Near each of the items was a corresponding card that said something very sweet and that connected our love with the object. For example, the Hershey’s bliss chocolate bar's card stated: “For being my utter bliss (but more addicting than chocolate).” After I found the six gifts, I was told to go on the back porch for my final surprise. Out there was a smaller table set up (with more candles and rose petals), and a larger than normal ring box. The card on the table, said "Congratulations, the prize is yours. Open the box and bring it inside. I love you".I opened the box to see an enormous size fake 'juicy couture' ring. Once I came back inside to Dave, he asked for the ring back, because he had one more surprise. That is when he knelt down and asked me to marry him. I’m not too sure if I even was able to answer from the tears of joy, but when I nodded my head yes, he placed the ring on my finger. Todd then was relieved of his adorable costume, and underneath, was a tee-shirt that Dave had written on "She said YES!! yahhhhhh". I guess he knew what my answer would be
