Ring Description

I loved this ring the moment I tried it on. The center cushion cut stone is nearly flawless! It is surrounded by 132 small diamonds all around it! A diamond halo, diamond under galley, and diamond band that goes all the way around. It sparkles so pretty! The total carat weight is just under 2 carats. It is in the modern collection of Ritani, but I personally think it has a classic, antique look to it.

The proposal

My fiance had planned a big proposal during my graduation presentation, but changed his mind at the last minute and proposed while I we were watching my favorite movie, romeo and juliet (the one with claire danes and leonardo dicaprio). He got on one knee, pulled out the ring, and said "would you be my juliet forever? I love you. Marry me?" It was absolutely perfect. I'd always wanted it to just be the two of us but did not want to tell him that. I wanted him to do it his way. We are now planning a wedding in our hometown, honolulu, in Jan. or 2011.
