Ring Description

I love the juxtaposition of the modern stone in a very classic setting. The center stone is a 2.2 carat asscher cut diamond set in a 1.25 carat split shank pave halo band. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect ring for myself

The proposal

He took me to the construction site of the house we are building to look around. We went up to the master bedroom, and on a support beam where the bed would be was an open box with the ring. He got down on one knee and said he wanted to start our lives together in our new house and asked if I'd marry him. It was perfect.

PS-I'm glad I don't have to take a close up of my hand.  I was just looking at it closely, and it isn't pretty.  Old age is terrible...
