My husband got my engagement ring at Sam’s club! We had it appraised to get it insured and it was appraised at double then what he bought it for!… Check it out! It doesn’t’ hurt.. No one every said rings need to come from Tiffany’s. Then all your doing is paying for the name! I love the ring the same, and as long as it came from his heart i can’t ask for anything more!

We got our wedding bands from a kiosk in the mall! Just gold bands and they are going strong for over 11 years!

Depending on how much you are planning to spend????? Shop around alittle before you make your final purchase anywhere. If there is a sam’s club near by check them out too. I found my ring at macy’s ( just the band, I did not want an engagement ring we did everything kind of fast) , my husbands came from Kay’s.

If you’re getting a ring from Walmart just keep it simple. The simple ones will hold up fine. You can always upgrade later.

I got mine from wal-mart and it is very pretty. I have had it for almost 4 years and it is still as beautiful as the day my hubby gave it to me. I plan on getting another one from there too!! I have to get a new one because I already re-sized it bigger and I have lost weight. Good Luck and Congratulations!!

I use to work in jewelry & please keep in mind that you can find jewelry at any price, even in the nicer stores. I know this doesn’t answer the question, because my ring wasn’t purchased there. Be proud of your ring whereever you decide to purchase it, it is a great symbolization of your love for each other!

I bought my husbands band at walmart, I shopped around and thought is was a fair and comparable price. He doesn’t wear it often because of his job, but it still looks fine.

My best friends entire wedding set came from WalMart. It was about $400 and it was beautiful. We were out shopping on day and found the same set at a major jewlery store and they were selling it for $1,250. If you find something that you like there, then I say go for it. That is money that could be going towards the honeymoon or the purchase of a house.

I did in the middle of my first marriage. We decided to try and make things work and went out there. My ring has .25 tcw and is 14k gold. It has a main diomond and then four small "chips" on either side. It was 299 several years ago. The marriage ended, but the ring still looks good. Needs to be cleaned, but for couples that really can’t afford something huge and want real stones it’s a reasonable alternative.

We did and we love them.
We knew we were getting married and did not want the payments. I knew they had them, we were out getting stuff and picked them up.
There are times I wish we would have gone to Target and K-mart also, but there really was no time.

He and I had very different tastes in rings. I wanted just one ring (not an engagement ring and a wedding but something similar to an anniversary ring) but he wanted our rings to be matching.
We searched all the local jewelry stores and both of us were getting very frustrated with not being able to agree on a set.
We decided to table the topic and focus on other things for a while. A couple of days later, we were in Wal-Mart doing some grocery shopping and stopped at the jewelry counter just to take a look.
I immediately pointed out to him a ring I liked and he liked it too. He then looked at the men’s rings and found one very much like it. The price was right with my ring at $200 and his at $95. We both wore them with no problems until his death and they are now in a memory box with photos from our wedding.

For my first marriage yes. My wedding lasted just a little longer than the ring. BUT he didn’t get me a ring from inside the glass case, he got me an engagement ring from the $6.98 rack, you know the fake costume jewelry you see on the outside of the jewelry section? The ring turned my finger green by the next day, I had to put clear nail polish on the inside of it. And my wedding band was a sterling silver band he got for like $13. We were young and in love and that whole oh it will last forever fantasy you have when you are young…we were both 18. We split up and divorced 3 months later lol. The set I have now is from Zales and he said it’s just the place holder until I can find something I really want. Though I will probably only change when it’s time for my oldest son (hes
to propose then I’ll give him this one…if he wants it.

Getting the man’s there, yes. Titanium for $60. My ring was his grandmothers, so it was free & has a lot of significance. I am glad no one made any shallow comments about buying stuff from walmart…we can’t all afford Tiffany!

i did. its actually a really cool ring. kind of gothic looking to. i was really suprised when i saw walmart carried something like it. who knew!
my ring is white gold, has a small star-like diamond in the middle and 2 tiny diamonds on the side. one on each side. (its not flashy really). its kind of swirly on the sides,
(picture it like this, a ring is a circle, so when it is coming together to be closed into a circle, the two ends start to turn around and go in a different direction… it "swirls" back.. make any sense?)
it has fillagree engraved into it, and the background behind it is black.
** you’d have to see it. **
it is beautiful. they still sell it. it was 198.00 i think, and it has a matching mens ring (we did not get that, we didnt like the mens) it is also one of those 2 pieces, but the other piece has the 2 tiny diamonds, you put that piece under it to make it one ring. (not the 2 piece sets that have the ring and the band. its just one ring. it just comes in 2 pieces)
we had a gothic wedding. it was nice.
i love my ring.
but we also have our rings tattooed on, so when we are not wearing them, we still are.

The diamonds that are carried by Walmart are not of a very good quality. I wouldn’t buy diamonds from them - my ring is beautiful and the diamonds are really good (and they didn’t come from Walmart!) Perhaps some day you’ll upgrade your ring.
