Going to Phuket via Bangkok for honeymoon. What hotel should we stay at to await second flight?

We are going to Phuket for our Honeymoon. We fly through Bangkok and have an overnight layover there before our flight to Phuket the next day. I am looking for a hotel that is on the airport (BKK) grounds or not more than a short 5 min taxi ride from the airport. We will be very tired and we will need much rest before our next days travels. Can anyone suggest something that is under 100 USD per nite? Thanks!!

There is only one hotel at Suvarnabhumi Airport which is Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel. Room rate quite expensive, it is about 196USD.

Unless you want to spend to your budget, I have a good-priced modern suggestion that is 5 minutes walk. I use it for my transit customers and it will be less than $40. It is comfortable, but not posh (when you are exhausted, you don’t need posh!)
If you decide not to walk, you have to be wary of the very many taxi touts who will mislead you. There is a map on the website. I tried to speak on the phone about their airport pickup, but I could not get any sense out of them…

There’s only one hotel that is within the airport property, the Novotel Suvarnabhumi but it costs more than your stated budget. Here’s a list of other nearby hotels, most are more than five minutes away but not too much further.
