    i think that wedding rings are the only exception for it, because if you have a silver one, that shouldnt mean that you cant wear gold ever. personally, i dont like to mix them, unless its one unit of jewerly like a necklace or something that has both

    I don’t like the mix personally. However; white gold and silver are quite nice together. I love silver everything. I also think it looks better with diamonds.

    I’m like you, I always thought you weren’t "supposed" to mix them, but I see it all the time. I still go with no though, just because I don’t like the look…

    personally i’m a fan of silver, notice how engagement rings there are more silver because i think its classy and it makes the diamond look better. i really don’t like gold, it looks cheezy.

    I agree with JamaicanQT…who cares if u like it and you think it looks good then screw what others think! I think a mixture is interesting and not what ppl would normally wear

    No, it looks tacky. The reason you keep seeing it is because most women don’t realise how stupid they can look these days. If you’ve been given a white gold ring, start wearing silver or white gold jewelry. It looks so much nicer than regular yellow gold.
