Hi I am trying to plan our honeymoon and I am having a hard time trying to find a good place to go….this is what we have in mind….we want a honeymoon where we don’t have to do anything…In my mind we can sit walk out of our hotel room somewhere on the beach and just enjoy ourselves and have a couple of drinks….so i want a room that I am on the ocean somewhere and possible have a firepit that’s all…I have looked into a couple of all inclusive things but they have an itinerary and I definetly do not want an itinerary, I want for us to have no real set in stone plan of what we have to do that day…any ideas??

it all depends on when your wedding is and what weather you would like
cold weather-New Jersey- the beaches are gorgeous and you can rent a small house right on the beach. a little cooler weather but still very nice!
mild weather-Myrtle beach south carolina-what a wonderful place to go! i went there last year and its so relaxing its perfect weather not too hot not too cold. you can rent a beach house or get a hotel within walking distance to the beach.
warm weather-Orlando fl.-beautiful relaxing warm and sunny. and right by disney!! i highly reccomend going there if you’ve never been there together before!
~Maui-OMG!! its perfect you can get a hotel suite with walk-out doors right to the beach. I love going there. you can do everything-relaxing snorkeling, scuba diving, parasialing, surfing, and more. there are also lots of place to go sight seeing. wonderful very wonderful!
out of country-Barbados,Cancun,Aruba,Europe. i dont know much about them but i hear they are wonderful!

We felt the same way about our honeymoon, we wanted it to be relaxing and with no schedule.
We decided to go to Maui and rent a private house, not in a resort so we were free to what we wanted at any time. Right now with the economy the way it is you should be able to find some great deals. Search "vacation rentals" in the location you’re looking to honeymoon. Hope you find a great place.

Why not just book a room in a hotel with a beach? We went to Hollywood, FL on business and it was just like that. You can do whatever you want whenever you want, there’s beach outside the door, there’s firerings, there’s plenty to do if you DO decide laying on the beach is getting old, etc. We stayed at The Westin Diplomat, it was really great. Look into something like that, you can pretty much have that experience in any beach-front hotel.
Good luck!

Kona Village Resort, on the big island - Hawaii. No itinerary, private hales (grass roofed huts), great food, etc.

I would recommend Tobago. The island is quiet and unspoiled and famous for honeymoons. There are a lot of private hotels where the staff will cater to you, but not disturb you.

I’d recommend a cruise, then. There’s a lot to do on the boat for no extra fees. If you want to go, you can. If you want to relax by the pool with a few drinks, you can do that as well. You never have to worry about when to eat, because there’s ALWAYS food somewhere. Drinks aren’t too pricey, either…comparable to what you’d pay on shore, plus people can buy you drink packages as part of the wedding gifts.
As far as what to do on shore, it’s up to you. If you want to do an excursion, you can do that…or you can just wander around on shore or relax on the ship.

My husband and I went to the Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. It was absolutely gorgeous! I wanted a place that was all inclusive and relaxing. I was the best vacation ever. They really did everything in their power to make it beautiful for us! It is a highly reccomended place in our book!

Why not Bora Bora. There is a hut right on the ocean. That’s where I initially wanted to go but it was expensive and we couldn’t afford it. You should try out sandals.com (i think thats the webiste, or just type in sandals in google). Anyway, they have great packages with beautiful destinations.
