it also depends on the cut and color. if you go mid-range on some of those, it would still depend on how many inclusions are in the diamond. anywhere from $800 to $2000

as far as the earrings that really depends on the cut. go online to http://littmansjewelers.com or http://www.zales.com to see ballpark figures. never buy a diamond online, go to the best jeweler who can help you understand diamond buying.

depends on what brand…but a .50 carat isn’t that big so probably not that pricey. I would go to Tiffany & Co. and go ring shopping there.

Depends on MANY factors, including things like whether you buy them in a upscale jewelry store or a mom and pop shop off the beaten path. I just bought my wife a 1.5 ctw diamond ring that ranged in price from $2,500 to more than $5,000 depending on color, clarity, cut, carats, store markup, etc.

Be prepared to NEGOTIATE. Just know that jewelry shops markup his merchandise AT LEAST 4 times and it’s usually more than that. So, do the math …

IF they’ve got $1,000 in the ring and they’re asking $5,000 (5 times the wholesale price) then they can give you a 50 percent discount to $2,500 and STILL make $1,500 on you! Drive a hard bargain! Shop around. Don’t be afraid to take your business elsewhere!

Check ebay, pawn shops, and even estate sales investigating a bargain.

i don’t buy them anymore due to problems in Sierra Leone . i just can’t support it in my heart.

would you consider another stone ? American’s buy like 2/3 of some the world diamonds. If we stopped , less people would die .
