Melt them down and make another piece of jewelry. You will never get the value or what you paid for them. A good jewelry designer could come up with some ideas for you.

You can do something like E-Bay, or look for a jeweler pawn shop… Or, if you know where you go it, and still have the receipt, trade up!

Donate them to a charity. You will be able to get a receipt for the value and take it off of your taxes.

Not sure where u live but anyway you need to get an appraisal first then go to the eBay website and list your item with the papers when you take your picture. You also could list it on craigslist.com depending where you located. Some jewelry places will also give you a credit at the store of purchase toward something else, but that your choice. GOOD LUCK!!!
