Just wedding band engagement ring sets?
05:09:15 am on December 7, 2009 | by bianca |
I’ve been looking at bridal sets for a long while and I was wondering if anyone had run across a bridal set that was just two wedding bands?
For example, This: http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/antiquejewelrymall_2062_293862163
and this: http://www.eternityweddingbands.com/assets/productimages/328e3ace-d7be-420f-bbf2-a6d431f40382.jpg
But them come together in the same set?
I just can’t seem to find a wedding ring I like that has a stone that is flush with the band. I don’t like the huge diamond that stick out of the rings.. :/
Thanks so much for your help!
Any site links or ideas are much appreciated!

I couldn’t find a set like that at all - because one is a wedding band, the other an eternity ring.
You could just put them together if you like, but if you don’t want an engagement ring, just skip it, go with a nice wedding band, then have an eternity band added in the future at an anniversary.
Or, maybe consider bezel set rings, or tension set - the diamond is fairly flush.
Other ideas…

Most wedding sets have an engagement ring with a large stone and a wedding band. You can have whatever you want for an engagement ring or wedding ring. The two rings don’t have to be a matching set. There are many colors of gold. You could get two bands that are different colors. I have seen yellow, white, rose, green, blue, brown, and black gold. Titanium, tungsten carbide, and steel are also becoming popular choices for jewelry. Weddingrings.com has neat designs.

Very nice rings! There’s no reason why you can’t put them together to make up your bridal set, as it’s down to personal taste. I wear a similar diamond band on its own or sometimes with a complementary plain band.
Have you also considered having something bespoke? I have been using a jeweller for a long time (15 years plus ) and his costs are such that I don’t think about buying ready made….please see link. (If you Google Cara Jewellers you will also find that they have had very good write ups on other websites.)
Even if you don’t want to use Cara, look for a local goldsmith and see what they can do for you. Usually if you can draw it, they can make it.

Easy answer, ebay, you can get a set of 3 (2 hers, 1 his), or a wedding band set (his and hers), have them tested and you can get your money back if they lie about them….
Good luck and congrads….

I’ve never seen anything like that, but you may want to look into a tension set engagement ring.
The stone is set more into the metal than the typical solitaire style.
Like this:

Your other option is to just have 1 ring instead of 2 and get an eternity band like the second link. That way you have your stone and band all in one.

well you’re looking for 1 band that’s just wider. you could get a plain band that has a ridge down the middle making it look like 2. or you could get a 2 or 3 row eternity band, that’s wider than the link you posted. that’s what I’m doing in lieu of an engagement ring, I’m putting that $$$$ toward a big wide blingy eternity band.
