Key West Honeymoon…looking for tips on where to stay/stuff to do?

We want to take a honeymoon…I don’t like flying so it’s only a 2 hr flight. My passport won’t be done by July so we’re thinking Key West. Not sure where is good to stay or what there is to do? We are looking for an all inclusive and nice beaches–relaxing but has stuff to do.

If you can afford it, the Casa Marina is a lovely place to stay. It is a beautiful and very luxurious hotel in Key West, and has its own private beach - excellent for a honeymoon. But it is expensive.
While in Key West make sure you check out the waterfront area. There you’ll find glass bottomed boat tours, star gazing tours on a schooner, schooner dinner tours, and a day tour to the Dry Tortugas. Make sure you do a tour on the Old Town Trolley. It costs about $30 a person, but you will learn a great deal about Key West, and also about other things you might want to do in the area. It is one of the best values for the money in KW - you can get on and off all day from any one of about 12 different stops.
For attractions in town I’d recommend the Truman Little White House. I think it is the best attraction in town for the money. Also consider the Hemingway House which is very popular.
For bars, if you like bars, check out Sloppy Joes which is very touristy, and the Green Parrot which is more a locals hangout. The Schooner Wharf is also popular.
For restaurants make sure you try the paella at El Siboney (you should call ahead and order it as it takes 45 minutes to an hour) and make sure you have their sangria with it. Louie’s Backyard is popular, as well as the dessert place called Better Than Sex. Another restaurant I like is B.O.’s Fish Wagon - it is an experience just to see it. And just across the street is Pepe’s, worth a try, and also look for Harpoon Harry’s, especially for breakfast. Go out to Stock Island and try the Hogfish Bar and Grill - excellent food and great atmosphere.
Other attractions you might want to see include the Shipwreck Museum, the Aquarium, the Butterfly Conservatory, the oldest house, the southernmost point, the Robert Frost cottage, and the little shops of Lazyway Lane and all around the waterfront.
Kermit’s key lime pie shop is worth a visit - most delicious. Enjoy Key West.
