Las Vegas…we are planning to elope in December! Where to stay?

We may go to any random wedding chapel when the urge overcomes us to get "hitched" while we are out there.
What casino has the best honeymoon/elopement package?
What else should we do while out there?

I don’t recall seeing any wedding type specials at any hotels here. They may have them but do not advertise them. You may have to call each to find out. The only way is to contact the wedding chapels at the hotels. Then again that is not what you want. You want to get the urge to do it and not plan for a big thing like that.
For elegance I would suggest Wynn, Venetian or Bellagio. However any hotel along the strip will do. You just have to figure what you want to pay and look into the price range you decide.
Here is a web page with information you need to get married here.

I though that eloping was a secret?
Try a church instead if you want the marriage to last.
If you want to be by yourself get off the strip. Some places to go at VegasNature.com

The Rio is pretty nice. If money isn’t an issue go Ceasars, Wynn or the Mirage I also like the MGM.
What to do in Vegas other than gamble? The Hoover Dam tour is a must! I know its a dam, but it is impressive. Obviously find a good show. They have comedy shows, lots of people like the circus shows and others like the magic.
As for the other respondant, church marriages last as long as any so don’t judge. In America, our divorce rates are high for any type of ceremony.
And most important, enjoy each other. Spend on the spa treatment and the dinners. You only get one honeymoon.

"Hitched"…hmmmm…I recommend that you blow your money on gambling and frivolity. Save the nuptials for some time in the future, eloping may not be a great idea just now.

If you’re planning on getting married you better ball out! Obviously it depends on your income and how much you want to blow but it’s a damn important day. I would recommend the MGM Grande. I’d also recommend selecting an area and bidding on hotels (you can often get them half price that way). Check out http://lashotel.info and click on the bidding ad! Best of luck!

I think that Caesars Palace would probably be the best hotel to stay at. I don’t know what they have for packages, but it is the perfect hotel! It’s extremely gorgeous inside, which I think would make it a romantic hotel. The Greek statues and architecture is just beautiful. They have a mini-mall like center called the Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace that has good shopping from Chanel to Nike. Their location on the strip is perfect, it’s right in the center, next to the Bellagio Hotel, which is another beautiful hotel.
Since you are going in December it’s kind of hard to tell what to do because some attractions may be closed due to weather. The fountain show at Bellagio is a must! It’s a fountain show that goes on all day every day and it’s really neat! It’s free, and it’s a lot cooler at night to see. If the Eiffel Tower at Paris hotel is open, go up there and watch a fountain show from there. It’s very neat, and the view of the strip from up there is spectacular! Another must do is going to the Freemont Street Experience on Freemont Street. There is a light show that goes on over Freemont Street. It is on all day, and the shows are always different. I’d recommend going at night. You should also go see a show on the strip. I’d recommend a Cirque du Soleil show.
A big money saver as far as transportation goes is taking the Deuce bus. You can get a 24-hour pass for $5 or a one-way pass for $2. You can purchase the passes at a machine in front of M&M’s World. I don’t know if these machines are in any other location; when I went the only machine I could find was the one by M&M’s World. The Deuce bus stops by hotels and goes to and from Freemont Street. It’s also fun to just sit in and do some sight-seeing of the hotels. The only bad thing is it does stop a lot, so if you want to go from one end of the strip to the other, make sure you have a lot of time to. Since there shouldn’t be as much tourists in December, the buses shouldn’t be over-crowded and it shouldn’t take as long to load and unload the bus.
Sorry I couldn’t help with the package deals, but I hope everything else helps! Have fun and congrats on the wedding!

If your going to do this and I’m guessing the money will be tight. The Greek Isles is half a block off of the strip. I believe you can get a room for $30 a day (Very clean from what I am told) also the Greek Isles has a very affordable wedding package. Cheap drinks I like when the bartender named jamie makes my drinks they come out really good.
