I have the receipt for it, specifying the weight, quality etc
I will also have, in hand, a copy of the current prices of gems and precious metals.

I am always straightening my diamond ring out and see no harm. The other day my husbands grand mom kept touching my diamond and picking at it, talking about how different it looked. (She is 90, haha) Then she did the same to my sister in law and she was like, "Don’t touch my diamond!"

I always thought diamonds were only destructible at the hands of other diamonds… or extreme measures.

i was told that if you use rubbing alcohol to clean a diamond ring it will make it really shiny. but im paranoid that it may cause damage in the long run.
