• What are the best places to visit in Greece for 3-4 days in November 3rd week?

    I am looking at places which has more scenic beauty and preferably has mountain resorts. Since its for my honeymoon, I am not too keen on going to places with a lot of crowd. I would like to chill out with my wife at a nice resort with a nice view

    There are alot of nice places you could go to, I would suggest zagorohoria, and Pilio.

    There are a lot of marvelous places you could go, it depents on your financial condition.
    The best, in my opinion, is the "Zagorohoria", many small villages on the mountains of Pindos (they are 40). You certenly need a car to go and to tour the villages. There are many natioral buties, splendid view, traditional greek styl arcitecture. Search for "Tsepelovo, Vikos, Kapesovo, Monodendri, Papigo, Lingiades" (for the last one, you don’t need a car but it is too small).
    Another destination could be the region of the lakes Prespes, which is less expensive and for more intimate occasions. On the one of the two lakes, there is a small island that is reachable by a small bridge on foot. There is a small traditional pansion there and also byzantine remainings .The village is very small, but the island and the hole region worths surely for 4-6 days. There are also other touristic villages at the region, "Psarades, Agios Germanos" and other. There is also a ski center in "Vigla". Search in google.
    Monemvasia is excellent for a honeymoon trip but it is quit expensive if you don’t search well.
    By the way, in this region I had my honeymoon trip too! (I can’t remember the name of the hotel, I think "Lazareto").

    do not visit mykonos or any other island.u will be stuck there by the bad weather.so prefer a picturesque village or a city,like athens.

    Go to Rhodos. This island has a lot scenic beauty, has a mountain, and the best breathtaking view. You can see photos taken from Rhodes to http://realgreece-rhodos.blogspot.com/ You will love this place.

    There are many ,any places to visit…As a travel agency I reccomend you these :

    Nauplio, Sounio,Pilio, Porto Germeno, Evia for a hole day trip,Spetses- if you want an island in the winter, Thessaloniki, Mani and Neapoli-Peloponese-Parnassos- to stay in a sale-Kalavryta…. Would you like me to tell you more?

    MOUNT pelion!!!you will be in the mountain and you will have the most incredible view of the sea down..you really can do sooo many things…
