No, you don’t have to declare it and there is no procedure/duty. It’s a personal item and that’s it. You don’t need a receipt or anything. Just like anyone else who is wearing his jewelry doesn’t have to pay anything for it. The fact that you carry the ring in a box instead of on your finger doesn’t make a difference. Just make sure you take in on board with you and not leave it in your luggage so it doesn’t get lost - just in case.
