I am interested in opening a booth in a store that rents space to various vendors. I am interested in opening a costume jewelry booth. Where do I, as a vendor, find the merchandise to buy for the booth?

You can approach any mid size jewelry producer and almost all of them will have a wholesale program.

Some of my favorite wholesale companies are:

http://www.aleynajewelery.com/ - a consistent and reliable wholesale partner. They have lots of affordable handmade glass items that seem like they are always hot!
http://www.firemountaingems.com/ - For displays and jewelry making supplies
http://www.storesupply.com/ - For jewelry boxes and displays
http://www.ebay.com/ - For random wholesale items I run into (be careful though, there is a lot of cheap imitation things on there)

Good luck with your start up!

You can buy costume jewelry and estate pieces in large lots on ebay. Take a look at the wholesale lots categories. You can get some items really cheap.

    Good luck.
