• Which island is the best to visit in Hawaii?

    It will be a honeymoon, first time to Hawaii for both. What is the best island to go to, what is the best place to stay, and how much can I expect to spend? I would like to stay somewhere that they offer Helicopter tours, maybe some volcanoes, waterfalls. I’m not really concerned with night life and the city. I just want a tropical honeymoon where I can relax and do the things I mentioned above. So I’m looking for something that would be kinda secluded and still get the Hawaiian feel. Thank you

    My favorite island is Kauai. You can go on a great helicopter tour there that takes you over the Napali coast. The only way to see this part of the island is by hiking and helicopter or by a boat. I also love Kauai because it is the most tropical of all the islands and where many movies have been filmed. It is a much quieter island and they do not have any buildings taller then a palm tree, so no high rises. It has great waterfalls, a river(Think the only island with a river), wonderful beaches, golf courses, many romantic spots. We usually stay at the Sheraton kauai or the Kiahuna plantation which both places are in the Poipu area.

    The only Island with a Volcano is the Big Island, far as where to stay on the Big Island, Waikaloa area has the nicest Hotels, and as far as how much money, it really depends where you fly from, how long you stay, and where you stay. Also time of year. Right now till june is a off peak time, but if you want to come here in december, it is very expensive.

    go to maui. the west maui mountains are pretty nice. hana is a must. if you want to go shopping go to lahaina. for some hiking or biking go up to haleakala. good waves are at d.t. flemmings. surf school is in lahaina. go to kehei and look around. eat at mamas fish house. have fun w00t.
