We were on a tight budget, so we found a local baker. I really wanted the fondent frosting, but I heard it tasted bitter, so this baker made my cake look like fondent, but it was regular buttercream frosting. I designed the cake and she made it perfect to my idea!!! She was absolutely wonderful, and this cake cost me $100. Yep, I would say it was a pretty good deal!!

This cake was originally inspired from a cake by Frosted Art Bakery in Dallas, TX. After searching for someone in the Los Angeles area to make my cake, I finally found Laura Criado, who was fabulous! Together we modified the inspiration cake and made it MORE beautiful by adding the gold scroll detail and the pink stardream shimmer on this five tier, all fondant beauty!! The inside of the cake was also pink- made with real pink champagne and had a pink champagne and raspberry filling!!!!
Topper was custom made by Sherri at Toppers with Glitz. The monogram initial has pink and aurora borealis Swarovski Crystals and ivory pearls.

Non-traditional square cake. Has 3 layers that are not separate. The colors on the cake are the exact colors to be used in the wedding. My mother will be making the cake so I have no doubt that it will be gorgeous.

My now-husband is an avid hunter. His only condition for the groom's cake was that it be vanilla with chocolate icing. I was lucky enough to come across some really cute cake toppers that fit his personality. The cake was delicious!

I wanted a five tier cake, but couldn't afford an extragavant one. We had originally planned to make the bottom layer fake, but ended up having to make all five layers real and even make sheets of cake in the back to account for the number of guests.
My cake ended up being perfect! Strawberry cake with buttercream icing ... five tiers ... mini calla lillies and blue hydrangeas decorated the cake. It was a simple and elegant creation! It tasted SOOOO good, too!

I stuck with the classics for my wedding. Basically whites, creams and ecrus with the lightest touch of light light pink. The vases that held my different centerpieces were the same blue as the cake :)
The cake was an apricot cheesecake made by Simma's Bakery in Wauwatosa, WI
I took a picture of one of the centerpieces taken the next day so you can see how the cake matched the vases.

Our cake was a three tier square cake that had 150 servings, it was amazing because it was a completely organic! It had two flavors one was a fresh fruit basket and the other was coffee creme. It was to DIE for taste wise, allthough now, I would have gone with a different design... Same shape but something more opulent, and I would have made it white instead of brown... Our Monogramed cake topper was the best part about it, I now have it shadow boxed with our family crest!
