We found the cake topper about a year and a half before the actual wedding! We are BIG disney lovers and we found a precious moments statue where the children are wearing mickey and minnie bride and groom ears. We knew that had to be it. So we built the cake around it. The colors of the wedding were red and gold and we wanted that on the cake as well as lots of glitter! We decided on Christmas presents because it was a Christmas theme wedding. We went and tried the cakes and we decided on the typical vanilla for the bottom layer, banana chocolate for the middle and redvelvet for the top. It was the best cake ever, soooo moist!! It was great. As we cut it we wore our mickey and minnie bride and groom ears and we went to Disney on our honeymoon. it was the pefect cake for us!

What could be more perfect for my fairytale theme wedding complete with a castle cake. I loved the design which was taken from a swatch of fabric that I had picked out. What made it even more special is that My mom who is a wedding caked designer/ decorator made the cake.. Loved it;o)

This is (was) our wedding cake and it was like a dream come true when saw our cake, the bakery owner is a dear friend of mine and he promised that he'd amaze me and he did!!
It was covered with cream cheese icing. It had orange zest and dried strawberry pieces in the layers and the filling was vanilla-butter cream with a little splash of rose water.. It was very flavorful as it was gorgeous!!

We were on a tight budget, so we found a local baker. I really wanted the fondent frosting, but I heard it tasted bitter, so this baker made my cake look like fondent, but it was regular buttercream frosting. I designed the cake and she made it perfect to my idea!!! She was absolutely wonderful, and this cake cost me $100. Yep, I would say it was a pretty good deal!!

This cake was originally inspired from a cake by Frosted Art Bakery in Dallas, TX. After searching for someone in the Los Angeles area to make my cake, I finally found Laura Criado, who was fabulous! Together we modified the inspiration cake and made it MORE beautiful by adding the gold scroll detail and the pink stardream shimmer on this five tier, all fondant beauty!! The inside of the cake was also pink- made with real pink champagne and had a pink champagne and raspberry filling!!!!
Topper was custom made by Sherri at Toppers with Glitz. The monogram initial has pink and aurora borealis Swarovski Crystals and ivory pearls.

Non-traditional square cake. Has 3 layers that are not separate. The colors on the cake are the exact colors to be used in the wedding. My mother will be making the cake so I have no doubt that it will be gorgeous.

My now-husband is an avid hunter. His only condition for the groom's cake was that it be vanilla with chocolate icing. I was lucky enough to come across some really cute cake toppers that fit his personality. The cake was delicious!

I wanted a five tier cake, but couldn't afford an extragavant one. We had originally planned to make the bottom layer fake, but ended up having to make all five layers real and even make sheets of cake in the back to account for the number of guests.
My cake ended up being perfect! Strawberry cake with buttercream icing ... five tiers ... mini calla lillies and blue hydrangeas decorated the cake. It was a simple and elegant creation! It tasted SOOOO good, too!
